Job Responsibilities
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial, residential, and industrial settings.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and drainage problems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, building codes, and schematics to ensure proper installation and compliance.
• Work with piping systems, water heaters, gas lines, and other plumbing components.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure long-term system efficiency.
• Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and clients to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Ensure all work complies with Connecticut plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining issues, solutions, and maintenance recommendations to clients.
Qualifications & Requirements
✅ Valid Connecticut plumbing license (Journeyman or Master Plumber).
✅ Proven experience in commercial, residential, and/or industrial plumbing.
✅ Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
✅ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
✅ Familiarity with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety regulations.
✅ Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
✅ Excellent communication and customer service skills.
✅ Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required, But a Plus!)
➕ Experience with gas piping, backflow prevention, or advanced plumbing systems.
➕ Certification in water filtration systems or other plumbing specialties.
➕ Experience working with general contractors and large-scale construction projects.
